It was difficult to take good pictures due to lack of light (and lack of time). The basis of the insulation was to use two differing Rockwool layers, in between the ship’s ribs. The final Rockwool layer had an aluminium vapour protective layer. The ceiling also had two layers that were affixed to spot welded spikes, and then the real ceiling was suspended underneath. All cabling and water pipes were run in conduits along the port and starboard sides. The starboard side conduit is easily accessed under the 22 metre long bookcase.
